Turlock Lake State Recreational Area Campground

Directions:
Turlock Lake SRA Campground is about 25 miles east of Modesto on the south side of the Tuolumne River.
From Modesto take Highway 132 East 14 miles to Waterford; in Waterford turn right on Hickman Road (county road J-9) and drive 1 mile to Lake Road. Turn left on Lake Road and drive 10 miles to Turlock Lake SRA.

MODESTO RESERVOIR REGIONAL PARK
Open 24 hours a day

Modesto Reservoir is located at 18143 Reservoir Road a few miles east of the town of Waterford off Hwy 132. This regional park offers 3,240 acres of land and 2,800 acres of reservoir for recreation and camping. Facilities include approximately 150 full hook-up campsites, undeveloped camping areas, marina, concessions, restrooms, picnic shelter, barbeques, picnic tables, archery range, and radio control glider airplane field.

WOODWARD RESERVOIR REGIONAL PARK

Woodward Reservoir is located at 14528 26-Mile Road a few miles north of Oakdale off Hwy 120. This regional park offers 3,767 acres of land and 2,900 acres of reservoir for recreation and camping. Facilities include 115 developed campsites, 40 full hook-up campsites, undeveloped camping areas, marina, concessions, restrooms, picnic shelter, barbeques, picnic tables, and radio control airplane field.
